Started out as really positive experience- Josh, the sales man was great. He gave two prices, the buy now or buy later one. We went with the buy now and signed up for a replacement conservatory. John the surveyor came out within the week and did the final measurements. He said he would try and get a picture send out to us before he went on his holiday to Egypt the following week. He was a very pleasant, personable man who was very competent and knowledgeable. He didn’t mention any issues as we were having a straightforward replacement so nothing had changed from when we had the sales visit. However, a week later we received a call from Tom stating that we needed to pay another £1600 as Josh had priced up incorrectly. I checked our paperwork and the measurements there were clearly correct. Tom was unable to tell us why the price had increased. He just said they were not making enough profit and when my husband refused quickly dropped it down another £300. It felt like they were just trying it on as they couldn’t explain where the price increase had come from. If they had maybe we would have understood but we felt the original price had been fairly agreed, and Josh had even called the office to discuss with someone else. They have quickly refunded our deposit so I’m not suggesting they are cowboys but it just felt underhand. We are so disappointed as we were really looking forward to the work and having been stung in the past they had been so professional until that point. We had even talked about using them for replacement windows and doors in the future as ours all need doing but they have lost all our custom. I would suggest that they make sure they stick to the price quoted or at least ensure they can justify why they are increasing it after the contract had been signed. They lost our trust when they started changing the terms, as we worried they would do it again.

We had a new conservatory roof fitted and new glass side panels. As well as many windows and doors over time. The roof is of good quality as well as the glass, the fitters are very friendly and happy to please. From start to finish the process was seamless, thank you. You won’t find a better company to provide good quality doors, windows and conservatory roofs. Keep up the good work.

Just had 2 windows from K&S, the fitters were Dave and Paul they were great. When they went they left everything clean and tidy.
Would use K&S COMPANY again.

One of the guys was very rude, left a big mess around my room, in my bed, furnitures, everywhere.

N. B. As you asked for more details. Work was done on 23rd last Saturday. In Sidcup High Street, Subway. Window work. I had videos of the mess, sent it to the landlord. If you want I will ask him to send me back, will upload in here.

Wish i had never gone with this company had windows doors & conservatory roof done few weeks, no end of problems to rectify the shoddy workmanship. Just an update still waiting for them to sort out our conservatory roof meant to turn up this morning got normal text say not coming AGAIN please do not go with this company as the after sales service doesn’t exist, when you phone the office Emma’s sarcastic tone with yes sir no sir 3 bags full sir and saying parts are in and they are not just to get you off the phone.just another quick update fitters meant to be here about 8 this morning received message saying be with us about midday now 2 30 looks like going to be let down again after waiting in all day,did message the fitters just after one no reply as of yet, also message company director & guess what no reply either this has been going on since September when had conservatory roof done please think twice before going with this company.
We are now at the end of February 5 months since roof was installed roof still not fixed meant to come Tuesday no show again waited in all day today (Wednesday) even text them this morning see if they were coming just received text 6 hours later saying wasn’t coming AGAIN saying going be here Friday.
In response to your reply on here the facts as we see it are, we had no problems with leaks until the box cluttering was fitted. The numerous numbers of fitters which you sent out all said the same the flashing wasn’t fitted far enough back also one set of fitters said the surveyor should have picked up on problem of not having enough room on roof due to solar panels for the flashing. This wasn’t the only problem we had with your company I.e broken hinges, openers manufactured wrong way round, stained window frames, end caps not supplied & fitted, grazed glass & not making good cut out for French doors which my husband had do in the end also being told every call out was costing you money if the jobs were done right in the first place wouldn’t of cost you extra .

K&S have been great all round Dan was really helpful with designing my windows that made it easier to get out and easier to clean, while still keeping a great look on my house and have a competitive price. The surveyor was very patient too answering all of my questions and the fitting team were brilliant too. Really pleased with the work and pleased I chose K&S.
